Prepare and deliver instructional resources and activities to students while utilizing all available curriculum resources. Prepare and grade examinations. Assign grades to students based upon performance. Collaborate with colleagues and teachers in the Accounting & Finance Department via weekly seminars. Monitor students’ performance through parent teacher conferences and progress reports. Researching various projects and current topics that will benefit student learning experience and understanding of accounting and finance. The occupation provides for the teaching of students in classes for the education levels of the 6th, 7th, and 8th grades of the middle school component of New Designs Charter School. BS in education, finance, or accounting. 24 month experience required. $65,320 per year. - English Teacher
- Science Teacher - 1342 West Adams Blvd.
Develop an overall curriculum for general science courses for students at a seventh and eighth grade level. Create instructional resources, activities, and lessons for teaching science courses. Create daily lesson plans and assign classwork, homework, projects, and assignments while providing appropriate feedback. Prepare and grade examinations. Carefully keep track of each student’s progress by keeping scores and notes in a grade book. Stay current in topics in education, specifically in general sciences. Take part in weekly seminars with fellow teachers to learn about new teaching methods while collaborating with the science department. Coordinate periodical parent teacher conferences to inform parents regarding student progress and needs. BS in education or science. 24 month experience required. $65,320 per year.

Create instructional resources, activities, and lesson plans for teaching mathematics to middle school students. Prepare and grade exams. Meet school performance goals. Participate in teacher seminar collaborate with Social Studies Department and coordinate parent-teacher conferences. Track student progress and scores. Update mathematics material. Research project for learning experience and understanding of mathematics. BS in business, management, mathematics, or statistics. California teaching credentials. 24 month experience required. $65,320 per year. - Physical Education Teacher (Middle School)
