Career Pathways New Designs Charter Schools are committed to the development of a college-preparatory learning environment that enables students to become literate, self-motivated, and life-long learners. Our goal is to prepare students for advanced careers in the fields of Medicine, Finance, Engineering, Information Technology, and Law and Diplomacy.
Students will be introduced to understand the science and art of preventing disease, prolonging life and promoting health through organized efforts, informed choices of society, organizations, public and private, communities and individuals.
Provides students with a basis for understanding the American political and legal systems with courses designed to provide an understating and application of laws that affect everyday life; families, business, social decision making and the relationship to policies.
Introduces students to computer usage and functionality, operating systems, the main system components, network connectivity, software installation, data backup, trouble-shooting, and system administration.
Students are introduced to the financial world and develop financial literacy through the study of income and wealth; financial institutions; how businesses raise capital; and study key investment-related terms and concepts.
Provides students with foundational concepts and experiences required for career readiness and to pursue further education in the Engineering Design career pathway.
