Graduation Requirements
New Designs Charter School prides
itself on the high performance of its students. We want all students to
be strong, independent thinkers with a solid background in STEM2:
(Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics and Medicine) subjects
and practical skills to match.
Therefore, to graduate from New Designs Charter School, a student must:
- Obtain a minimum of 245 credits
- Meet all State of California graduation requirements including passing state high school exit exams.
- Meet or exceed the A-G requirements of the University of California systems.
- Complete a technology major from one of the technology career majors.
- Complete a service learning and internship program prior to end of the first semester of their senior year.
- Take the beginning level exam of one of the Industry Certification tests.
